  • Mackie TT24 Backlite

    Hello All.
I have a TT24 to repair, the customer said the backlight was intermittent but I have not seen it working. I have traced the fault to the Inverter Module which does not seem to be generating any High Voltage, however, there is a control line going to it marked Brightness but I can't seem to find any way of adjusting Brightness on the Control Surface.
I trolled the Owners Manual but could not find any mention of Brightness or Contrast for that matter for which there is a Knob on the side of the Screen Box.
Anyone have any experience with this beast?

These days, the contrast is more likely to be controlled by a parameter in memory. If the manual doesn;t mention contrast or brightness, sometimes it gets referred to as "viewing angle."

SOunds like your inverter is bad though.
