Dearmond pickups in Harmony H75/76/77/78

Anybody know if someone can recreate these Dearmond pickups? Supposedly they were called "Maximum" pickups and were fitted to the Harmony H75/H76/H77/H78.

I am also looking for any technical specs that anybody can provide for these pickups.

I love the sound of them, and don't know if they were different from many of the Goldfoil pickups, or just a repackaged version.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Are you wanting to make new ones or just rewind and repair old ones?
I'm pretty sure most of them can be repaired.
Some closeup pictures would be good, if you have the pickups handy.

Still would like to know the intent of the OP.
Whether he is making more or repairing the few he has.

I don't have any of these pickups currently. I'm more interested in trying to buy accurate recreations, or maybe eventually see if there would be a market for these types of pickups if they could be recreated. I'm sure they have the rubberized magnets, but that's really all I know.

I'd love to put these pickups in an Epiphone Casino or other modern thinline hollowbody.

Would anybody have a patent number for these pickups? Although recreating these pickups might be a pipe dream for me, I guess you never know what the future holds. As the current supply dries up, a market may grow out of the void.

Anybody know if these are single coil or humbucker type pickups? I've got a DeArmond Rowe "S-grille" type gold foil pickup on a Harmony H-35 semi-hollow mandolin (some called a "Batwing" body style for the 2 eneven point). Static resistance on the pickup measures 8.48k ohm.

I want to replace the volume pot for a smoother taper (less drop off). The existing pot is marked with a serial number but no values. It measures 1.4M ohm (!!??). I'm thinking the traditional wisdom is 250k ohm for a single coil and 500k ohm for humbucker, but which do I have? Or is the pickup something else?

Any thoughts?

Single coil. Just a coil of wire around a bar magnet.
