Enzo, we have a 2% use tax here too. Basically, BS local money grabbing politicians interfering with a small business... but as far as the IRS goes I think you'll also find that anything depreciated down to zero... will have to be sold for $0 or it will be subject to a federal 25%-35% capital gains tax!!
So you dump $2500.00 worth of basic junk for $500 on flea bay... and you get to give $125 to $175 towards Obama Care, or the like.
There's your money grabbing BS politicians at work again, simply killing the little guy IMHO.
