I have a beheringer kx1200 and I bought it 5yrs. or so ago, I love it, it's been a very good amp, BUT my son and I put an input line into the headphone jack,[I know stupid] so I now get a buzzing sound from the amp. It still works but the buzzing won't go away. Is there a half way easy fix?. I see the schematic is out of the question, any help will do. I hate to throw it away. Thank you

The KX1200 uses two LM3886 power ICs for the speaker out and the Headphone jack connects to the speaker out and returns to ground through a 270 ohm resistor. So the circuit is pretty straight forward. Schematics are floating around the internet.

thank you I put that lm3886 in it did help but my master volume knob when I turn it up real high it cuts off and it still has a little buzz going on, any thoughts thank youComment

One thought that comes to me is to look at T3 and T4 as they both might have been damaged by the line input. Really not sure here but those line up with pin 8 on the 3886 chip to ground. It is possible that might be something that got shorted to ground. That is just a guess but hopefully others here will chime in...
Also, do you have DMM to test voltage? It might be a good idea to build a dim bulb tester too.When the going gets weird... The weird turn pro!Comment
