I had a customer last week who had paid $430 for a "vacuum tube amplifier" for his piano.
I think he was slightly misled, since its actually a LM1875T with a 12AX7 front end.
The schematic bleow is the "tube" part, which is in effect just a quirky buffer. It looks like an attempt to marry the old Wurlitzer tube design with the later solid state stuff (i.e. the 10 ohm resistor is a vestige of a former feedback return) but its worse than either.
