  • HelpPlease;UnevenStringsSoundAcousticPluggedIn

I have a plain Yamaha Acoustic (not Acoustic/Electric) have only played acoustic tryin to plug in for more volume, I know very little about the electronics side of music gear.I Got a Roland MicroCube practice amp, and a Dean Markley Pro-Mag Plus pickup that you just place into the hole and plug into the amp. works good exept theres a constant fuzzy sound coming through the amp even when the distortion is low and holding the strings mute.
But the thing I realy want to solve is that the High e and B strings ring way louder than the rest G,D,A,E. With no volume/tone control knobs for the guitar I don't know how to level them out.
    Ant suggestions??...
Maybe a lighter gauge of strings for just those 2, or heavier strings for the other 4? Just Have Standard strings on all of em now.

I Appreciate any help, I need to learn more about the electric stuff.

It appears that the pickup is not quite correct.
I would suggest contacting there customer service department.
There is no way to 'even out' the string loudness, even with an EQ.
It is a single coil pickup, so you will get that single coil buzz.
Not too sure about the noise that you described.

Try steel strings instead of phosphor bronze.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"

the unwound strings are plain steel while the wound are likely a core wrapped with a less inductive alloy. I have routinely put electric guitar strings on acoustic guitars for that reason. Mind your gauges
