Low-cost bass speaker

Any recommendations for a low-cost 12" 8 Ohm bass speaker for a 50w FAL Merlin transistor amp (UK)? I was looking at the Pulse drivers in the CPC catalogue but they're no longer stocked. One of those jobs where the amp isn't really worth spending anything on, I just need to get it working.

I was wondering about a Celestion TF1220.
