    Wow, those look very handy indeed! I was working from the machine, which was not very convenient most of the time. I could build an extension for the cards easily and fairly cheaply.

    What type of connectors are those on the motherboard of the Lyrec?

      Connectors are 1/10" pitch card edge. These connectors and getting a bit rare.

      the male part for the Motherboard you may build out of a piece of double sided epoxy.
      Some prototype boards have 1/10 pitch stripes as well. It needs a handle to put it into position.
      on the female end you can use the expansion port connector of an old Commodore C64 board.
      It has more pins, but you can block the area, you don't need.
      Check very carefully that all connections are correct and without shorts.
      Some epoxy glue helps as strain relief and additional insulation.
