Any suggestions on replacement headphones cheap costing but good?

Well I lent my daughter my Sony MDR V100 headphones which I just replaced the earpads on a while back and she lost them. I wanted to see if anyone has a good suggestion of good replacement headphones that are around the head, not those push in ear type, but they have to be cheap and a good bang for the buck. and good sounding...

The guys on the home recording show did a review of good bang for the buck headphones.
The TASCAM TH02 and Monoprice 108323 Premium Hi-Fi DJ, came up trumps.

I did get a set of the Tascams which I thought were decent enough for dj mixing.
But within a couple of weeks one of the speakers went faulty and a horrible rattle sound came out of one side any time any sort of bass went through it. This might have been user error rather than a manufacturing fault, hard to say but maybe worth a mention.

Sennheiser, the best choice for poor people.
But the ones that cover the ear, like a CUP. Not the ones that press pads against the ear lobe.

Musician's Friend has run the Tascams two times for $29/2 pair. I find them at least pretty good. They aren't quite full isolation. I like Grado SR60s too, but the ear pads fall off. I have a pair of Skullcandy headphones that are surprisingly good.

As an aside, a man way smarter than I, Siegfried Linkwitz, has designed a circuit which makes some specific earbud headphones completely flat for critical listening applications. The specific models are sadly discontinued, although possible to find, but the approach remains valid, check it out:

You really need a specify what you think cheap is, but I'd recommend the ATH-M50. It's a home-studio standard. I picked mine up of ebay for under $90, but retail is about $160.

Interesting article, but he does state that the circuit flattens the response for him, but would have to be adjusted for everyone else depending on ear canal geometry/size.
