Guitar rental Boson/Chicago

Hi guys

Not sure where to post this so decided on here!

Would anyone know a good place to rent electric guitars/bass, pedals etc for gigs in Boston and Chicago?

We are travelling form Ireland to do a few gigs but still waiting on visas so unsure about bringing our instruments with us. Think we have our backline sorted.

Any advice on this and/or on good practice when gigging in the States would be greatly appreciated.

Modern music in Lisle (just outside of Chicago) does rentals. PA's/Lights/instruments...yadda yadda. You won't find anything exotic; but serviceable. I've been buying guitars from them for well over 30 years. John the owner toured with Zappa back in the day!

Ended up going to Chicago music Exchange. Bought a Fender Jazz Squire. Pretty pleased with the sound of this bass at the price. And it looks cool!
