Did you try what Dude suggested in your other thread? Technically we refer to that as a re-initiation. In the owner manual they often call it "restore factory settings".Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Doesn't that depend on what's wrong with it?
Unfortunately there is not a 'it's this' answer.
It may come down to an application specific ic that is the problem. (or not)
In which case it is not repairable.
So, yeah, try the Renit. sequence.
Oh and Casio Privio PX130 is the correct identifiction.

No, that is not the kind of reset he was talking about. There is a reinitialization procedure on page E-23. You have to turn the backup off.
