    It may not matter a whole lot withh the guitar on 10, but as soon as you turn down with a dirty amp to clean up it DOES matter. Trust me on this, thats where mine went from weak and dull sounding to chimey and with power behind the note. I could also tell on 10, but it's subtle. If you keep your volume on 10 all the time it's not a big deal.

      I had the same issue on 2 identical guitars and was trying to figure out wtf was accounting for the difference in volume dynamics. Checked ever spec and then it came down to the pots. I called PRS and told them what I found. They said that was normal. One guy said he will verify values on replacement pots. He sent me pots with tolerances more in the +/- 10k range and the guitars then had similar vol dynamics.

      Previous, the pots were off by 80k. Same exact part numbers.
