  • RC3403ADB ic chip question

I had purchased several ic chips at an auction years ago and I was wondering if these RC3403ADB chips are the same as the RC3403ADB chips used in the early Boss OD pedals. The chip itself has 2 lines of numbers, the first being "RC3403ADB" and then the second having "RAYC8452". I have other ic chips with a different second number as well. I don't know what that second number means and also is this a Raytheon Chip? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

The second number is typically a manufactures date code.

It looks like a Ratheon, made in 1984.

That particular ic was used as a quad opAmp in the vintage Boss OD-1 OverDrive and Boss SP-1 Spectrum pedals.
