Trying to get huge stereo separation

Hey folks,
I have a Groove Tubes stereo SFX spacestation. You've probably heard about it, perhaps under its new name, Center Point Stereo. Anyway, it uses side/front micing technique in a playback mode to create a nice stereo ambience. At any rate, it works best with patches that have effects panned hard right & left. Just wondering if there is a way to make my patches separate hard left and right to maximize the effect. My processors don't generally have a control to pan in this manner. Any suggestions?

Are you using the modeler that you mentioned in the other thread to produce a stereo output?

If so, it should allow you edit patches in such a way as to get the effect you want. If you can't edit, then tried and true mono-to-stereo tricks can work: insert a processor (reverb, filter bank, whatever you have) into the signal path that is patched into the side array. Tweak and find a setting that you like. Anything that affects phase will change the way we perceive the location of the sound source.
