Hi Enzo! I recently repaired my friends Sunn SX8350 PA head. It was dropping audio on the left and right channels after it got warmed up. I found numerous cracked solder joints loose wires, loose ribbon connections and dirty pots. I tried setting the bias per schematic notes. I connected + meter probe to R47, and negative to chassis ground. . Schematic says 35 mV. But when I turn trim pot clockwise, I can only get 31 mv. But when I did this the unit started running really hot so I set it back to original settings which was around 8 mV. Would you please explain your method of setting the bias for this unit. Thanks in advance. Coop

The service notes say to read the voltage across R47, not to ground. So one lead on each side of R47.

Thanks 52 Bill. Don't know how I misinterpreted that. Haha. Thanks again for your reply.
