    olddawg, this is the correct motor and it has an internal governor. It has 4 wires connected. The wires are connected correctly. It has a hole in the back and there is no adjustment pot there.

      These motors are designed for external speed regulation, hence the AB terminals.
      Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
