I do have a question for you. In one of your photos, it looks like there is an added drawbar loaded with 10K resistors. Is this so, and what was it supposed to do?
Hi Bill, I do believe the extra drawbar would have been a volume control for the bass pedal circuit that had been added. I don't suppose you know whether the bass pedal circuit was an official add on sold by Vox?

There were bass pedal made, but I've never seen them on a basic Continental, only on the dual keyboard and fancier models.

I suppose that anything could be possible. What was the quality of the work on the added circuitry? The soldering and parts placement of the added drawbar look pretty rough compared to the rest of them.

That's right, the added circuit was a real mess, it's never worked in the time I've had it, the main PCB is quite large, and is placed underneath the tone generators. I don't think I'll bother reconnecting it. As I don't have an oscilloscope, I now have a slow task of fault finding the few notes which aren't up to scratch, my plan when it's up and running is to sell it for a Rickenbacker 12 string guitar I have spotted that I've fallen in love with!
