  • Wired for bridge

I have a Behringer PMX 2000 powered mixer. Silly question. Want to run in bridged into an 8 ohm cab. The output is speakon. On the back it shows +1 and -1 as the wiring. In the manual it shows +1 and +2. Obviously the output is on the 2 positive but not sure if the output is wired to + and - 1 for simplicity's sake and to work with any 2 conductor speakon. I appreciate your help for this simple question.

Typically, the operator does not have to do anything to the connector.
The hard wiring in the amp should do it for you.

    Check it with an ohmmeter.
The schematic shows that +1 & +2 / -1 & -2 are tied together on the Bridge output socket.

If you could send me that schematic I would really appreciate it. Wouldn't it be wired +1 as pos and +2 as neg?

Use your meter & verify the wiring.
