Did you CALL fender and ask for it?

Ya, I found out it was an amp that was to be tossed out. No biggie. It's toast

That only applies to warranty repairs. Did they tell you a schematic was NOT available?

edit: appears to be the same batch as nosaj posted, but on different site (back-up )

Is C408 bad or is it "missing"? The schematic calls for C407 and C408 in the "only Mustang I" section. You have a version II.

Ya I thought it looked like a smd part was once on there. I didn't go further with Fender as I didn't want someone to get in trouble with an amp that was supposed to be destroyed.

fair enough. it only is to be destroyed if it was replaced under warranty. After the warranty it is like any other amp.

I don't know how they would know where you got it unless you give them a serial number and I doubt they would ask for it? I wouldn't have a problem asking them for a schematic.

First thing i destroy on a warranty exchange amp is the serial number.
