  • Allen & heath xone 92, vcf problem, selfoscillating

Hi, I have some trouble with a xone 92. Filter 1 self oscillating with resonance set to wild and frequency near to the max. Service manual found here

The mixer come with filter 1 not working, I found R71 burned but not broken and the ssm2164 fail. I replace both, now the filter work (not at all) but it self oscillating. Some ideas?

What was the final verdict? The VCF on both sides of my mixer has turned into a band reject regardless of selected setting and it's going to be around $350 USD to replace the two filter boards. I haven't gotten into the mixer to see if there are a couple of components I could replace. Vicus, what was your final resolution?

Yep, I did repair it replacing the quad vca that are obsolete and difficult to find. I did pay a lot for money for one and fortunately it did resolve the problem.
