HINT: it competes commercially with the following products:
Stein Harmonizers, Novum Resonators, IPC Energizers, Shakti Stones and Hallographs, Bybee Speaker Bullets

    Answer: about $120!

I happened on this product at an Audiophile parts WEB site
    the product reviews are AMAZING!!

    https://www.tweekgeek.com/bybee-quan...ProductReviews

it used to be made of black acrylic but now is made of an environmentally friendly biopolymeric matrix, which amazingly has performance INDISTINGUISHABLE from the original!

    Review excerpts:
"The Bybees allowed me to see a level of facial detail that I did not know was possible on TV. (If you think about it, unless you have access to professional equipment that has been properly calibrated where would you go to experience how good TV quality can be.) All of us can tell the difference between looking at someone through a window versus looking at the same person on a video monitor. The Bybees got my TV closer to a window."

"I placed one each atop my Hephaestus Audio monoblocks. I was expecting a very subtle difference that I would have to strain to discern after many hours of breaking in. That was very much not the case. The effect was not subtle at all. It was the equivalent of a component upgrade. Certainly many times the price I paid for these. Greatly expanded and much darker soundstage. Greater clarity and detail of voices and instruments. Voices have a spooky holographic someone is in your room quality. Cymbal decay lingers on like I have never noticed before. Powerful, compelling bass. I can't believe two index card sized pieces of wood could have such a dramatic effect on my system."

"I liked them so much that I bought 11 of them! One is placed over the breakers. One each under my 2 DIY power strips.
I have one each under each of my Audio components. I used some Cardas blocks to get the Bybees up as close as possible to the underside of the component.
On the Video, I have one each under my cable modem, cable box, Blu Ray, and attached one to my TV.
Surprisingly there is a break in time, which makes it a little hard to decide on final placement.
The Video improvement was instantaneous, but the Audio took a few days to open up.
    "

It feels sad once you realize the level of brainwash in ... pretty much everything everywhere.

        Edit:
to answer your question: it is a Quantum Signal Enhancer.
        What's my prize?

ACTUALLY its a block of wood for people with more money than sense who use technology but have zero understanding of it, an ever increasing demographic.

Take heart DF, there is an objective reality and science helps you get there!

Geez look at the Hephaestus Audio monoblocks description and price tag!! "The video improvement was instantaneous..." <<<?>>??? WTF!! This is absolutely hilarious that such people exist out there in the world where even one would pay for this type of crap.

Edit: To answer Ted's original question, "What is it??" It is an extremely overpriced cutting for board for the kitchen.

But, but, but... it has magic beans, I mean, crystals....

Of note, the active elements inside the QSE are specially formed crystals that are resistant to damage and will never lose their effectiveness.

Of course it looks like a piece of timber. The race that built it imbued it with a familiar look so that we wouldn't be alarmed. The same way that aliens sent back in time from beyond infinity look just like us.

Guys! Don't get all gooey over the bybee QSE. I can save you ALOT of money. In a side by side comparison I found out that you can get THE EXACT SAME LEVEL OF IMPROVEMENT by placing a Dorito's corn chip anywhere you would normally put the bybee QSE!!! In fact, figuring I was onto something I decided to try some other Frito Lay products and my results were the same. The only thing that didn't work was the Nacho Cheese sauce. It made the picture on my TV somewhat cloudy and when I tried it with my speakers they sounded muffled. Still, I think this is a significant discovery that bybee should be informed of.

I'm not too sure about that when you get down to the quantum level.

I think my response to my Chemistry teacher when explaining that was, "so, can we be uncertain enough that the matter is not there that if I come punch you in the face that it won't hurt?" He declined to put the theory to the test. So we all drew the conclusion that the matter was indeed where we saw it to be.

Granted, more than a few of us didn't like the guy...

Here are the Bybee Quantum Room Neutralizers

$240 each, you'll need at least 8 for a typical room... they are the (more?) passive design and their stiff wire "antenna" allow you to easily hang them off things

the ACTIVE units (oxymoron) require being plugged in, although they draw pretty much zero power...

thus they are INFINITELY EFFICIENT! And likely should cost way more than their current $650 each

Again the reviews are insanely positive:
"Bravo! Your new Bybee Active Room Neutralizers are a fine enhancement to any system and the room it occupies.

Here are my observations after 36 hours using 2 active and 4 passive neutralizers in a small-medium size room with a fully tweaked system: Berning amp/preamp, Audio Physic Virgo 25, Music Hall Wells Signature mod dac, JPS & SR cables. Synergistic Research and Bybee AC line and signal filtering. Actives only up for 24 hours.

                          REDUCES room influences dramatically
BASS leading edge punchier and harmonics are improved
SILVERY HIGHS, but mellower; a great deal of glare and edge gone
LOUDER with less distortion. Added overall clarity and transparency, that is:

SUBJECTIVE sound level is greater and the equipment can deliver higher sound pressure at lower perceived distortion.
                          PRESENCE, especially human voices, enhanced.

The room effect is not dissimilar to Synergistic Research Atmosphere room conditioner (Schumann resonance manipulation). But much more organic and less 'processed.' With your active product in the room, Atmosphere effect is diluted but remains perceivable.

The effect rather mild at first, especially with passives already up, but became quite vivid after about a day.

I appreciate the flexibility of placement that allows for tuning the room to taste, or accommodating asymmetrical space. In an intimate space movement of either type by as as little as 8-10" in any direction changes the room response.

                          Congratulations,

                          Dave Radlauer
                          "

That "antenna" looks like a piece of lamp cord just snipped off.

All I can say is, corn chip.
