  • Fender Acoustasonic 30 DSP Chorus

I have a Fender Acoustasonic 30 DSP. When I activate the chorus the chorus light pulsates and a clicking sound comes through the speaker. The speed of the clicking/pulses varies with the amount of chorus. I fix amps but have never seen this before. Any idea on what might cause this?

Not to be condescending... but the first thing I do with any modern DSP amp is read the owner's manual. There is usually a "hard reset" procedure that involves holding 2 or more buttons down at the same time while powering the unit up. This resets everything to factory presets. I find it "fixes" a lot of DSP issues.

Reset is always a good start, if available.

If you get sounds that seem related to the chorus process, my first thought is that the chorus circuit is working but no signal is passing through it. So I would look at the schematic to see if signal is getting to the chorus circuit.
