A simple look up table can be used to linearize (or other law) that with much greater accuracy that the typical potentiometer that uses a couple linear tracks to approximate the desired law.Experience is something you get, just after you really needed it.

Exactly. I'm preparing some PWM/Ohm arrays for most used values, both for lin and log pots.
Next step will be a 9V supplied voltage divider with a 1 M resistor from 9V to one LDR (upper part of the pot) to another LDR (lower part of the pot) to ground. This way I can better measure that not only the rotation is correct, but I can also keep the whole pot value (LDR1 + LDR2) constant, as a real pot.

I would like to implement a developement of this idea into an upgraded HMI version.
A single 12ax7 cascaded double triode where I change some parameters by transposing this web page:
http://www.trioda.com/tools/triode.html
in C for a 3,5" HMI connected to an Arduino Due/Mega: I can show the main parameters on the HMI and hear what I'm seeing.
Some of you guys know how I can translate that page into C, or at least how to determine first five harmonic distortion amount and all other parameters?
Thanks alot.
