Yet ANOTHER LED Question

How about this....i have a 9v source thats powering a couple pedals. Can anyone show me a circuit to tap off of that to power a LED w/o causing any grief to the pedals like popping etc?

I build a few passive pedals that use the main 9v supply just to switch an LED on/off and apart from a series dropper resistor no other components are used. I've never had any problems, even with complicated and esoteric pedalboard setups.

Yeah, thats what i ended up doing and it works fine.
