I have a problem with the ISS142 diode that comes on the Peavey PV1500 amplifier. I do not have information on its electrical characteristics or if there is an equivalent. I appreciate all the help. Thank you.

In the USA you can call Peavey and get them that way. Otherwise they are 250v switching diodes, the ISS244 ought to work in their place - that is the 300v diode from the PV2600.
Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.

Correct part numbers are the 1SS142 and the 1SS244.

          1SS142 has reverse voltage Vrm = 300V.
          1SS244 has reverse voltage Vrm = 250V.

Both diodes have forward current Ifm = 625mA.

You can replace one with another as Enzo recommends, or find a replacement.

          Here are the datasheets.
