Do i need powered monitors with this mixer

Hi Clifflo , and welcome to the forum.

Short answer .. Yes.

This is not a "powered mixer" i.e. does not have any power amplifiers built in , does not have any speaker out connections.
Both monitor and main output require a external power amplifier to drive speakers.
