  • White Noise coming from studio monitors, wrong cables?

I just set up two studio monitors using a sound interface with a 2x RCAA Male to Male cable, and I'm getting white noise out of the speakers, sounds like this. Sound works and sounds good when loud, just when it has nothing playing or is low, you can really hear crackling and white noise. I will attach some photos of the setup, hopefully some one can point me in the right direction.

I tried fiddling with some of the buttons on the front of the interface but nothing changed, hopefully this is just an instance of having a wrong cable, and some one can show me the right one

Usually hiss is a product of preamp gain stages. Whatever interface, mixer, whatever you are using try opening up the pads a bit and bringing down the master.
