  • Can LM307H cans tolerate being soldered?

I have a Musicman sixty five 212 with a dead op amp. There are mounts that it looks like the chips are inserted into, and this one got really burnt up. I don’t presume there are direct replacements for these? I’ve never seen them at least, and not able to find any on the bay. Just wondering if there’s alternatives before I potentially risk damaging a pricey component. Thanks!

I've soldered plenty of those. Also found this if you end up needing one.

That package is TO99 and there are still sockets if you look around for them:

Thanks for the info y’all! I think I’m going to end up just soldering them to the board if the risk is minimal, but I’m glad I know where to get these now! They look way nicer and more robust than the originals
