Me again. Am I allowed to start this thread? It's quite different than the earlier previous thread which thought process I abandoned, but I'm new here so if it's not allowed, please delete the previous one as I don't know how to..
Alright so I've got a 420 watt power supply that i know works fine, was running great not too long ago. I'm sooooo close I can taste it..

I followed this tutorial nearly to a T minus adding an ON/OFF switch as my PSU has one, all my connections are where they need to be and the JVC 400 watt dual channel bridgeable amp is recieving power. Problem is when I ground the green power connector it turns on for a split second, the power supply makes a bit of a squeak like a mouse, then goes into some sort of safety mode. I can unground and reground the power with the same effect, or scratch them together and spam that effect, but I'm not sure what the problem is here. Does anybody know?
