    Hi
I am totally useless with electronics and would like some help please.
All i want to know is; can i plug my headphones straight into the back of my amp (Marshall MG50 DFX) where the connector (looks like a guitar jack) comes from the amp and into the speaker. It says next to it "minimum total imp. 8 ohms". The amp actually has a line out but when i plug my headphones into that, the main amp still plays, and i want to play late at night so that is no use.
I am sure it will be fine, but i just want to be sure that i am not going to blow me, my amp and my axe up, so if anyone can help it would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    Paul

Use the headphone out, and turn the master volume down to 0. Master only controls the level of the speaker.
Also, the line out is filtered on the MG's, and you'll probably want to listen to that with your headphones.
