Still seems high to you compared to what? Was the B+ less than 358VDC with the old noisy transformer?

Doesn't make a lot of sense if the original PT had higher unloaded voltage. But the unloaded voltages had to both be measured either with or without those CT resistors.

But the thing is, it worked the way it was built, it just made mechanical noise. So the customer opted to replace the PT with one close to what I was measuring in the original. But now the new one seems to high in voltage. I am stumped here.It's weird, because it WAS working fine.....
