I need the Best Cap I can find for a Reactive Load Powe Tool

Ok. And good to know. But just what IS the load circuit this device is using? Alas, no schematic.

Google doesn't know much about the PS Systems Power Tool. There are a few instances where people discussing this device have thought it was based on Groove Tube's patent https://patents.google.com/patent/US4937874A/en

The groove tube patent refers to RDH4 pages 837-838.

The schematics in the above only have one capacitor each with values of 200-282 uF.

never seen a gut shot, if a Ducati 32uF 450V cap fits it would be poetic

That Ducati looks like it could handle anything There is No known schematic for the power tool I sent it to www, Pacair.com Steve Kenedy He put that IC cap in and changed the on off rocker switch for Free And it sounded OK for a few weeks Then it started going South I Never turn my Marshall volume past 5 it is So loud.The old Cap lasted over 10 years.I know it was a big Blue 32uf 100 volt cap it was alot bigger than the IC brand There is No other info on the Power Tool Ive had it 1994 The Preamp and FX loop all work great I know it is that cap,The amp guy I have here in North Hollywood Mike ClassicAmps was in Hospital for 2 months Im trying to get in touch with ..It is a easy fix I just want it beefed up to take that 8 ohm load Thanks everyone DAB

do realize that on most caps with a stud the threaded end is LIVE and needs isolation if its not directly to ground, Rifa's famous PEH169/200 caps have a special insulated acorn nut for this!

As you're local to me (I'm in Burbank, sling-shot distance from the Burbank Airport runway), I have a bag of these 10uF MultiCap PolyPropylene Caps that were used for DC Blocking caps in Compact Monitor System's 3-way stage monitors (in line with the JBL HF drivers). Three of these would no doubt be suitable. I probably have some additional film caps of similar size if you need that extra couple uF.

Then it most certainly was a film type , not an electrolytic.
