  • Replacing 2 DPDT switches with a single rotary switch?

    Hi everyone,

I've built a simple resistor attenuator and I'm really happy with it. The design is true-bypass, but it uses 2 separate DPDT switches. I'd like to change this to one rotary switch, but still maintain the true bypass. I'm hoping somebody can point me in the right direction as to what type of rotary switch I'd need. I'm thinking it would be a 2 pole, 3 position switch hooked up the same way the 2 switches are already. This is a link to the schematic/layout PDF:

Thanks for any help you guys can provide!

    You need a 4-pole, 3-position switch.
"Enzo, I see that you replied parasitic oscillations. Is that a hypothesis? Or is that your amazing metal band I should check out?"
