  • Roland KC-600 no output

Hello: I'm working on the KC600 that has no output to speakers. I get audio in the headphones on all inputs. I have a schematic, well it's sort of a schematic, more like a block diagram. It shows + and - 15volts. I have + and - 11 volts. I haven't dug into it much yet, I just started checking it. I'm not sure if the 4 volt discrepancy is my only problem and if I fix that it will cure everything or if there is something else going on. Other than the voltage problem it seems to be acting like the mute circuit is always on. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Check that the power input is set for 120VAC.

Not sure which schematic you are referencing.
You received the full document here: https://music-electronics-forum.com/...1&d=1646064419
      That IS the schematic diagram.
The fact that the headphone out works leads me to believe that the lowish 15 volt supply is not the main issue.
      Cause for concern: yes.
The fact that the ICE Power amp module is being used in this unit is going to be a problem.
Assuming that you have a good speaker, I would test that you have a signal going in to the ICE module (Pg 41).

I hope you have better luck with this KC600 than I did with the KC800. That was a nightmare, Roland KC-880 Keyboard amp...no output, no service doc's - Music Electronics Forum (music-electronics-forum.com)
