SG3525AN has nothing to do with amplifiers. This chip is designed for the power supply. If the amplifiers' supply voltages are OK, there is no need to break the power supply.
Check D3/ D14, D22/D23, depending on the channel in which the defect is observed. Check the supply voltage of IC9/ IC12 chips. Check the DC voltage on their pins 1. It should be around zero. A voltage of up to 0.6 V is allowed.
