  • Yamaha clp-920 soft pedal not working

I have a Yamaha clp-920 soft pedal not working sustain works just fine. Cleaned the pads.
What i want to do is bypass the cable and pedals and see if i can trigger the soft pedal via jumper(for testing purposes only).
    Page 88 is the schematic.

Find CN3 on the main board. Pin 5 is ground, pins 2, 3 and 4 are the 3 pedals. They each should measure 3.3V. Jumper the pedal pins to pin 5 to activate. I can't tell which pin is for which pedal.

I think you should end up jumpering pin4 to pin5 at CN2 on the DM board.

No dice pins have 3.3v. Jumpers 4 to 5 no effect guessing its an ic issue.
