FWIW electrons don't even travel the length of the cable anyway. It's more like those desk knick knacks where there are several steel balls hanging together on strings. You swing the one on the end and only the other end moves with five balls remaining stationary. The electrons in a circuit swap along the chain in a similar way. Atom to atom. The idea of cable orientation is utterly ridiculous in this scenario. The implication is that something is flowing from one end to the other so some coarseness in the cables physical processing could be responsible for an impediment of flow from one end to the other. This is not the case at all at the quantum level where electrons operate. But it's an easy sale to anyone that has a less understanding view of the circumstances. Anyone trying to sell this is a predatory liar.
