Yeah, failing to plug a speaker into your amp with a cabinet will surely burn up an amp. For what its worth, I hope uranus doesn't burn!

I should totally get one of those. Then, if I used a boost pedal or hot pickups, I could push something big into Uranus.

        ...had to

I know this guy who is really BIG in the porn industry. Sometimes he hires bands for events. He thinks Uranus is too small for what he does.

          Oh god, someone stop me...

I listened to the clips. I gotta say, Uranus sounds farty and constipated.

OK... I have to come clean (pffft) Oh god, I'm splitting my sides right now, Uranus in American sounds like "your anus". Use a translator site and you'll get the jokes... And your minor slip up.

FWIW I include a built in attenuator as an option on ALL my designs. Turn the attenuator down to "0" and you can safely unplug the speaker load and use the entire amp as a preamp. Just doing it on the small watt models is too easy, and a cop out. It's been done a lot by many builders. A small, quiet amp that can be even quieter... Not a big deal.

Language differences are fun. In all seriousness, If we learned Chinese we'd do well be as fluent as mr kld.

                  Agree and add.
Maybe it was not *that* difficult for Mr KLD to be proficient in English, being that "somebody" speaking English has practically ruled the World in the last 200 years, the British Empire the first 150 years and the American Empire the last 50, so most everything (Music, Cinema, Technical Manuals, even amp panel labels and T-Shirt inscriptions) has been written in English.
With such total immersion, you absorb a language through the pores.
To log on and find *us* struggling with our incipient Chinese writings, Mr KLD will have to wait until the Chinese Empire runs the World.
Unfortunately for him, it will still take a long time to happen, at least 10 to 15 years.

Why stop now, you've barely scratched the surface of Uranus.

(But please wash your hands afterwards.)

I don't think the jokes will machine translate at all. I've seen forum posts that Google translated as "Tiger gas rising to the sky!" but actually meant "Happy Chinese New Year". I am seriously considering learning Chinese as a career move.

Hmmm... My only other interpretation was "your in us". Which could also apply to the liberal elite I suppose
