I'll agree that commercial advertising should not be free for members who make no other contributions to the forum.
Some forums that are mainly free have paid "selling" areas for classifieds or commercial ads. They have regular memberships (free) for discussion areas, and paid memberships for the sales areas.
All that being said, the OP may be donating for all we know, or might be quite willing to pay a fee. At least send tboy a free amp or something .

The Chinese have no scruples. Cut corners, inferior components, copy the work of others, pirate copyrighted material, sell cheap using cheap labor, and avoid advertising fees if you can advertise for free.

It's the national goal of China...and the duty of every Chinese citizen...to help sink the U.S. by flooding us with inferior crap that have short life-cycles...to sell more crap later, and take over as the world's only remaining superpower.
