A very old RCA W0-57A scope

I just had to share this with you all. In my late friend's collection of stuff, he had an old RCA WO 57A scope. Hey, only $137.50 back in 1950.

I am guessing it belonged to Mike's dad and was passed down to him. Mike's family gave it to me. I just had to see if it would produce a trace, anything, etc. So I powered it up with a variac and bulb limiter. And there is was, a blob of electrons hitting the screen.

So it now goes on my bookshelf as a memento of my friend.

Err... yeah, it could be a project. But in front of the queue is a B&K 707 tube tester that I recently picked up.

Yes, I have the schematic for the tube tester and slowly going through it. But that is for a different post !!
