This is actually a parts request rather than schematic, but wasn't sure where else to put it.

I'm working on a Roland BluesCube Artist. The SMPS is dead. It has a defective gate driver IC (see picture below). There are no numbers whatsoever on the part, so not sure where or what to look for. The supply is sold as a part and there is not a schematic or parts list for the power supply in the service manual. I also contacted Roland and was told that they only sell parts to authorized service centers, which I am not. So I'm looking for one of two things if anyone can help.

1) A part number and source for the chip (maybe someone has run into this before and has info?).
2) Someone who is an authorized service center that will sell me the entire power supply. The Roland part number for the supply is 5100041414, and I would need to know cost before ordering.

I had the exact same problem with that amp. The only difference being that the amp was mine.
It is an encapsulated module. Someone else had the same issue and took the time to open it up and trace the circuit. Here it is:

I can't remember where I got the schematic from, could have been here for all I know. It is a fairly straightforward controller/driver circuit.
I suspect that the module would probably only be available through a service center, if at all, because I seriously doubt Roland made that power supply.
However, even if the module is available, with so many of these failing, you could be just buying time until another failure.

It may not be worth it for you or your customer, but If that module is not available, you likely would likely have to build the controller circuit yourself and add it in.
On the plus side, that would increase the chance of having the SMPS survive over time.
Or, if your customer really loves the amp and can deal with the expense, you could make your own power supply. There is plenty of room in the chassis.

That is what I did for mine since it really is a good sounding amp. I made two linear supplies; one raw supply for the power amp and another regulated one for lower voltages.
You could also buy a small SMPS supply for the lower voltages. You would need to make a thin conductive barrier to place between the transformer(s) and the rest of the circuitry.

Again, I did it because it was mine, however it is actually easier than it sounds and you and your customer would not need to worry about future failures.

I have a dealer checking on price and availability from Roland. In the mean time, I found this:

It looks like it could be easily adapted with a few changes. Funny thing is that it appears to have the same encapsulated gate driver IC. Of course any modification will have to be OK'd by customer first.
