Does anybody have a schematic for the Dr Z Galaxy 40 watt amp? Specifically, I am looking for how the channel switching footswitch is wired, and if/how much power is provided to the footswitch from the amp. I have someone that wants an LED indicator light to show when the footswitch is activated. He says it's similar to the Hot Rod Deluxe, but the Fender footswitch is actually two switches, channel select and drive, so I don't know how similar the switching circuit actually is to the Dr Z. Should be a pretty easy job, but I do not yet have the footswitch in hand to peek inside it, and I realize I can check the voltage on the amp jack, but I would just like to know exactly what I'm getting into before I agree to do the job. Thanks in advance.

No voltages involved.
Best to put a battery in the switch box.
Normal is to connect one end of relay coil to suitable DCV, the other to jack Hot, and an external footswitch grounds it.
Needing a battery for a high current consumption relay coil won´t last much.
Isn´t there a schematic showing coil connnections?Juan Manuel Fahey
