Cool man, Wish I bought one!
Good for all your Jcm 800 mods! The last schematic has atleast one error on it. The K4 relay... Can't be right.
I'm all about switching regulators, though I know they are having some probs.
                Peace,
                Cru

What is it about K4? I see the contacts, but I don;t spot the coil drive.

                    Enzo,
                    K4:
in the contact position shown V2b cascades into the grid of V3a. That seems normal. But K4's other contact position connects V2a's grid with V3a's grid.
Now that I look at it I guess it is obvoius what it should be, but last night it boggled me.
What about that boost circuit? oooh... inductors...

Ah, I see what you mean. When I first looked at it, in my mind I just saw what it ought to be without looking close enough.

I still don;t spot the K4 coil drive, maybe I am just senile.

Well, maybe the same coil drive as K3 as they would switch together... I think.

                        Boost circuit:
Vintage: 68nF and 47mH Narrow boost at 2.8Khz.
Flat boost: 10uF and 3mH wide boost at about 900Hz.
(~13dB all the way cranked. Taking into account the 100k/330k divider).
