  • SoundTech PS1000 + Crest QSA 400 ?

    Couple of monsters...even just the switch mode supply for the PS1000
    would be useful ...

      No 'cause there are needed today...think I've sussed 'em out.
      The switchmode supply doesn't make it easy to use the light bulb limiter trick
      powering it up and I'm a bit tentative supplying the outputs with full power
      Using some dropping resistors feeding the outputs everything seems fine
      no protection lights ...spose should build a "normal" adjustable supply
      for these moments ..have to keep reminding myself "lest haste more speed"
      Just thought it was worth a shot- sometimes as you know schematics
      magically appear up the phone line from the other side of the world !
      Will inquire later re distributors for next time, sometimes it seems to take
      ages to track these things down particularly if they have been privately
      imported a lot of which has been happening lately...
      The Quest should be a bit eaiser just about to power that up.
      It has a torroidal and its eaiser to see whats what.
