Hi! I'm repairing a Kustom K-100 7 combo for a friend and have worked out most of the kinks, except for a non-functioning preamp section on the right-side (normal?) channel of the amp. The pre-amp board number is PC-1100, if that helps. I have measured approx. +/-7.8 V on the power lines to the preamp, but scope a very, very diminished signal on the output line (blue wire) of the pre.
The other channel works fine, and I have verified that the input jack wiring is good on the offending channel but, before I go much further, I'd love to see a schematic of the pre. Anybody out there have one? Or any ideas of a good place to start, maybe common failures in this area?
