I have a newer BV120H head with a bad 60Hz hum and only half volume when a guitar is plugged in. Quiet with no guitar plugged in. Contacted crate and they no longer provided schematics to end users. Called three service centers and really got the cold shoulder. I'd rather not shotgun this one. Help!

SHotgun? I'd just explore the input jack and see what is wrong.
Loud Technologies is rather overwhelmed, so they have sent us all letters for example asking us not to direct people to call them for parts, etc.
A lot of service centers are not going to get excited to help you avoid paying them for what they do for a living.Education is what you're left with after you have forgotten what you have learned.
