ANy Vox dealer can order the power transformer. In the USA that means any Marshall dealer too. or contact a place that sells Marshall/Vox parts, like www.marshallparts.com.

CONTACT them and ASK. DOn;t look on the web site, see a T'shirt and a power adaptor and decide that is all they have.

Have you somehow determined yours to be bad?

      transformer

yes, wire HV2 wasn't giving off any resistance, and it is like the only thing else making the fuse blow... even when i had rewired everything back together, the fuse blew... checked, r84 reads 10 ohms... and so, everything else checks, the transformer is the only thing not checking...

if c68 was open, would that blow a fuse... i mean, it is right there with the fuse... and how would you test c68 anyway? i have tried to test it, but i cannot get a reading...

okay... got the amp to turn on without blowing a fuse... only problem is, the speakers won't quit buzzing... they have a whirring sound... what could be wrong?
