  • Marshall MA100 / MG15FX (Series 4)

    Hello everybody.

I wonder if somebody have any of these schematics, the new MA100 and/or any of the Series 4 MG's (speacially the MG15FX).

I won't mod any of these amps (yet), i junt wanna study the circuit to find out why does the MA sounds crappy and how the MG works (maybe I'll mod any of 'em when the warranty finishes).

    Thank you all.

There's a new series, the Series 4, with digital potentiometers and 4 channels, stuff like that. They sound decent (i prefer my old Mg15CDR)

Yes, you're right ! I didn't know it. Maybe preamp is modeling based instead of classic analog circuit in older MG series.

Well, they say it's pure analog w/ digital controls. But if you're goin' to beLIEve Marshall...

Now, the MA100 makes me wonder where did they screwed it up.
