I just swooped a Sears Silvertone 1474 to work on and I'm pretty stoked. Cracked it open and WHOA!!! Talk about point-to-point wiring. Or should should I say lack of wires. All the leads of pretty much everything are connected to each other. Also i noticed it was missing the 2 little transformers that are lurking around the bottom of the speakers. Saw those in a picture of the amp and this one doesn't have 'em. Any help in finding this schematic would be GREATLY appreciated. I have less than 3 weeks to work on this thing and I also have to work my more than full time electronics job and find some time to play with my 6 year old. I need the extra cash to buy him a 6th birthday present. I can trace the circuits but that takes time and it would be a whole lot easier with the schemmie. Thanks for lookin'. Sorry for the sob novel.
Seriously if you guys could help me I would really appreciate it. I really wanna hear this thing play. The dude that got it from cut the speaker cords and there are supposed to be 2 little transformers near the bottom of the speakers but they are also missing. It would be sweet to know the Henry value and what current and voltage they are supposed to handle. Oh yeah! And it would be cool to see why they are there. Thaks for lookin'.
