  • Schematic anyone?

    I have a Crate PSM12P. powered speaker.
    Which after disecting is a Soundking fp215.
    Which funny enough the PCB is marked Sound king FP215AXXD01
    Anyway need a schematic if possible. tryed contacting Crate and Soundking..No replay.
    this is the next unit i need to get off my bench.

      Thanks. I sent a request.
      got a request back for them for a DISCLAIMER, sortly after starting this post.
      sent it back and still waiting.
      At least its heavy enough to keep my bench from floating off into space! LOL

        Well I'm hosed! they don't have any info on it. Its a, Quote from Crate "It looks like this particular Crate Audio series was replacement only." type unit.
        Heck of a large "replacment" part.
        As a consumer I would be hesitant to buy any product from a company that can't support or repair it.
        Well its just a problem with the input gain and processing.
        I guess I'll hack into the volume knob circuit and provide and external input bypassing all the tone and mic stuff. Main Bi-amp and power is good just preamp and tone processing is bad.
        A few cut traces and some mag wire and i'll be good to go.
